Peach and Orange Blossom Spritz
Besides wine, I don’t drink many cocktails except my top favorites – vodka and Fresca, and gin and tonic. Well, then there’s a margarita, and many variations of margaritas. And holiday cocktails are always fun. But at home I drink wine. And when I’m out, I drink wine.
There was an exception recently when my daughter and I were out to lunch. The restaurant offered a drink with Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom plus orange juice. I was reluctant only because of my distaste for fake flavor, but I ordered one. Then another. Smooth and delicious.
From Ketelone.com: “Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom has a refreshingly crisp taste and is for those who enjoy the taste of lush, juicy white peaches and bold notes of fragrant orange blossoms. Ketel One Botanical is more than a liquid. It’s a lifestyle. It’s your delightful, sophisticated choice when you are after a lighter drink option, yet don’t want to compromise on taste.”
I don’t know the recipe for the drink I enjoyed with my daughter, but I’m definitely using this vodka and orange juice. The rest seemed easy – Fresca for bubbly and orange liqueur for sweetness!
Peach and Orange Blossom Spritz
Makes 2 drinks
4 ounces Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom Vodka
6 ounces orange juice
3 ounces Fresca
Big splash of orange liqueur
Mix these ingredients together and pour into glasses with ice.
I actually had a blossom from a calabacitas bush, thanks to my gardener girlfriend!
This drink is really nice and refreshing.
If you like flavored vodkas, I highly recommend this Ketel One variety.
We don’t make many cocktails around here – we typically prefer to drink our bourbon neat. However, this does sound fantastic for a hot summer day!
And if you like the flavor of peaches…
Looks like summer i a glass!
I agree! I love summer peaches!
This Peach and Orange Blossom Spritz is great summer refreshment Mimi! The blend of peach and orange blossom vodka with orange juice and a splash of Fresca creates a light, fruity cocktail that’s perfect for warm days. I just need some warm days here in Scotland to enjoy this! Lol.
I’m wishing warm days for you!
I am also mostly a wine drinker but I enjoy a nice refreshing spritz. This sounds like exactly one I would enjoy. Saving this recipe.
It tastes so much like peach and orange!
I don’t drink but this sounds delightful Mimi!
cheers

Oh, well darn!!!
Fresh, light, and fruity – this is my kind of cocktail; it sounds exciting!
Thanks, Ben! It’s light and tasty.
I am so glad you put the photo of the Fresca in this post as I had no clue what it was ;) I will look for Ketel One when we are in Europe later in the year :)
My mother drank Fresca in the 60’s and then I think it lost popularity. But I like to use it when I need a bubbly factor!
Like you, I have been burned by fake flavors before, so thank you for getting this Ketel One. I will definitely try this, or so,e combination of it when we have cocktails!
Peach flavors that are fake I think are the worst!
Looks like a perfect summer drink
Thanks, Charlie!
So refreshing and perfect accompaniment for grilling season! Have not had a Fresca in ages. Cute garnishes too.
I have a thing about Fresca! I use it in everything. It’s especially good for bubbling up sangria.
I’m not much of a cocktail drinker, but this sounds very good! I’ll have to give it a try.
I’m not either, which is why this drink is on the weak side! But the flavor of the vodka is there, for sure.
I like fruity cocktails so this sounds just right for me. I know that gin comes in many flavors, including flavored with white ants (found it in Australia)!
Ohhhh my! So white ants are flavorful?!!! I didn’t know that!!!!
I would affectionately call this cocktail a ‘Porch Pounder’ goes down easy and smooth, and you don’t have to think about it-perfect for summer chillin.
Hahahahahaha! That’s a great name for it!!!
Reminds me of a fancy mimosa! Perfect brunch cocktail ) Love the vodka!
It’s a really good-tasting vodka!
This looks fancy!
Except it really is not!
Nice and refreshing!
Definitely! Great flavors.
This must be so refreshing! White peaches will be available in the farmers’ market next month. This drink is perfectly timed for when it gets so hot here. Thanks Mimi!

I love peaches! They’re a little slow to come around where I live, and not always in the best shape.
